Auditions for Apple Alley Player's production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF will be held Sunday, May 18th (1pm-3pm & 5pm-7pm) and Monday, May 19th (4pm-7pm). Auditions are by appointment only. The auditions will be held in Keyser, but the specific location is TBD. It will be announced in audition emails.
Please prepare around one minute of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Music from the show is welcomed. Sides to read from the show will be provided after you sign up based on your desired role(s). Please note that we may have you read material for other roles as well.
Given the quick turnaround of auditions, we want to assure you that we are accommodating virtual options for your audition as well! Apple Alley's Production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF will be performed in Keyser, WV August 15th-17th and 22nd-24th. Friday and Saturday performances will be in the evening and Sunday performances will be matinees. Tech week will be held August 9-14th and all rehearsals this week are mandatory. The productions will be directed by Dana Bridges, with music direction by Jaiden Courrier, and choreography by Kylie Eckard.

Yente-Yente is the middle-aged widow who matches up the young people of the village in hopes that they will marry. She is a village busybody and knows all the news of the town. Cast a girl with great comedic timing.Gender: female Fyedka-A strong, young Russian soldier who sees past his military obligations and falls in love with Chava. He challenges Tevye's imposed silence.Gender: male Possible singing Shprintze and Bielke-Shprintze and Bielke are the youngest daughters of Tevye and Golde who are tutored by Perchik.
